*If you have not reviewed Module I, Module II and Module III, please complete before registering for Module IV.
Each module builds upon the information and knowledge shared in the previous module.

Please complete the pre-education quiz contained in the registration form in order to measure the effectiveness of this curriculum.  There will be a live quiz during the webinar which will be answered through your keyboard.  A post-education quiz will be emailed a few weeks after the webinar. 
 
All quiz results will be kept confidential and only used in aggregate or as de-identified data.

This continues the instruction for learning about AJCC staging.  This will progress with the rules for using the correct classification and assigning all of the elements that make up the AJCC stage.  This will cover the rules for exceptions and unique complex cases, encompassing some of the nuances for all of these topics and providing the final piece of the staging rules.

Identify the exceptions and unique complex rules for the classifications used in the cancer registry.

Identify the exceptions and unique complex rules for assigning the T category.  This includes how they differ based on the classification.

Identify the exceptions and unique complex rules for assigning the N category.  This includes how they differ based on the classification.

Identify the exceptions and unique complex rules for assigning the M category.  This includes how they differ based on the classification.

Identify the exceptions and unique complex rules for assigning the stage group based on the T, N, and M categories.  This includes the different stage group unique choices based on the classification.

Eight PowerPoint presentations designed for the physician to introduce new rules and serve as a reminder of existing rules in assigning the classification, T, N, and M categories, and stage groups.  Also included are some highlights of changes to the AJCC 7th edition in general, and specific examples for breast, colon, lung, and prostate.  This will reinforce the information taught in this module.

Lesson 28. Webinar with Quiz from AJCC Needs Assessment

Recap of the lessons highlighting the rules. Quiz will be from the AJCC Education Needs Assessment and will contain three staging questions and two case scenarios.  Handout can be downloaded from the Lesson 28 link.
